In fact, the objective is the most important part of a resume, and therefore, must be carefully thought through. The objective must be a true reflection of the individual and the person's strengths and talents. It should be as short lists of the areas of expertise or of skills that you have. Most importantly, the objective must include all the skills required by the position you are applying for. In the scenario of a technical position, the objective must highlight all the skills you have in your area of expertise, while if you are applying for a sales-oriented position, you should highlight the relevant skills you have in sales. When the employer is reading your resume, a part of the objective must be included in it so that the employer can easily see the exact skills you have. The objective serves the purpose of creating the balance between the positive traits of the person and the skills required by the job. The recruiter will also be able to easily assess if you are being hired because of your skills and not because of the title you hold. Therefore, when you are writing the resume, be sure to include all the elements that are required for you to be considered a true objective, i ncluding the skills that will be needed in the job. This will give the employer a clear idea of the actual skill set you have and the qualifications you should have to be able to fill the vacancy. As mentioned earlier, a shortlist of skills is not enough. It should include all the skills necessary to do the job, including special skills such as certifications, licenses, additional certifications and courses, extra skills required by the company, etc. So, make sure that your resume includes all the necessary skills.
